The first few years of parenthood were one of the most challenging experiences we had encountered. Still, it proved to be a rewarding and loving journey as we collected 300+ random notes documenting our children’s development, cute quirks, and unique talents. These entries became the foundation of the short stories on this blog, primarily written from our child’s perspective.
Whether you are a parent or one of those lucky bystanders watching parents struggle juggle, we want to share these memories with you and hope that these will brighten your day just a little bit more. You will find entries like when they seek nirvana in the womb and when the mosquito gave them a gift, or perhaps you will find more interest in thrillers like Judy, the possessed doll.
Introducing:
Our first daughter, Izzy Tornado, a cute, adorable-looking Pol-Asian baby, was born in 2018. Warning – you do NOT want to mess with her. No, seriously, Izzy had always been a force of nature, so much so that she earned the name “Izzy Tornado” at daycare.
Our second daughter, Hurricane Dora, joined the family in 2020. Yes, right before the Covid-19 Pandemic hit, we decided to have another baby. Izzy was quite concerned about Mommy’s weight gain, but she eventually accepted her sister’s arrival.
Of course, no parenting blogs will be complete without talks about the Teething, Breastfeeding, and Poopie Series.
Look out for a new story every week!
